Weekly pool service and cleaning in Las Vegas

Regular service that keeps your pool clean and clear, week after week, through triple-digit summers, spring wind and monsoon dust.

Why Las Vegas pools need weekly care

The desert is hard on pool water. In summer, strong sun and warm water burn through chlorine quickly, and once the sanitizer drops, algae can turn a pool green in a matter of days. Spring winds and monsoon storms blow dust, leaves and debris into the water. And Las Vegas has hard water, so every time your pool evaporates and gets topped off, a little more calcium is left behind.

A steady weekly visit keeps all of that in check before it turns into a bigger problem. It is the core of what we have done for Las Vegas Valley homeowners since 1996.

What a weekly visit covers

Every pool is different, so ask us what your service will include. A typical weekly visit covers:

  • Water testing and balancing. Checking sanitizer and pH and adjusting so the water stays clear, comfortable and easy on your surface and equipment.
  • Skimming, brushing and vacuuming. Removing leaves and debris, brushing the walls, steps and tile line, and cleaning the floor.
  • Baskets and equipment check. Emptying skimmer and pump baskets and making sure the pump and filter are running the way they should.
  • A heads-up when something is off. A filter that needs cleaning, scale building on the tile, or equipment that sounds wrong. Filter cleaning is essential for a clean, clear pool.

Green pool? We bring it back

If your pool has gone green or been neglected for a while, weekly service starts with a green-to-clean. We bring the water back to clean and clear, then keep it there. Pools that are too far gone, with algae and calcium bonded to the walls, may need a drain and an acid and chlorine wash first, like the Bullhead City fiberglass pool we rescued.

FAQ

Weekly pool service questions

How often should a pool be serviced in Las Vegas?
Weekly is the standard for most pools in the valley, and it matters most from late spring through early fall, when heat and sun burn off chlorine fast. Skipped weeks in summer are how many pools turn green.
Can you take over a pool that has already turned green?
Yes. Green, neglected pools are something we bring back to clean, clear water. If the pool is in very bad shape, it may need a drain and an acid and chlorine wash first, and we will tell you if that is the case.
What should I do between weekly visits?
Keep the water level up, especially in summer when evaporation is high, leave the pump running on its normal schedule, and keep the yard debris down when it is windy. If the water starts to look cloudy or green, call us.
Do you offer weekly pool service in my area?
We serve the entire Las Vegas Valley, including Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise and Paradise. See our service areas or call 702-366-3440.
